Procedures
Below is what I perform, with a short honest description of each. Where a procedure has its own detailed page, it is linked.
One thing worth saying before the list. The operation you arrive asking for is not always the one you need, and the most common mistake in aesthetic surgery is treating the wrong problem well. A consultation exists to establish which problem you actually have.
Breast
Breast augmentation
An implant placed behind the breast to increase volume and change shape. It adds volume; it does not lift. Planned around your chest base width and tissue quality rather than a cup size. → Breast augmentation in Turkey
Breast uplift
Reshaping and repositioning breast tissue that has descended after pregnancy, weight loss or time. An implant alone will not achieve this and usually makes the shape heavier rather than higher. → Detailed page in preparation
Breast reduction
Removal of breast tissue and reshaping, for women whose breast weight causes back, neck and shoulder symptoms as well as for appearance. Often the operation with the largest change in daily comfort. → Detailed page in preparation
Augmentation with uplift
The combination most often needed after pregnancy and breastfeeding, where volume has been lost from the upper breast and the tissue has descended. More complex than either operation alone. → Detailed page in preparation
Breast implant revision
Correction of an unsatisfactory or failed previous result — capsular contracture, malposition, rupture, visible edges, or a size that no longer suits you. Wherever the original surgery was performed. → Detailed page in preparation
Gynaecomastia
Correction of excess male breast tissue. A combination of tissue removal and liposuction depending on how much of the excess is glandular and how much is fat. → Detailed page in preparation
Face
Rhinoplasty
Reshaping the nose so that it sits in proportion with the rest of the face, and correcting breathing where it is obstructed. The right nose is not a standard shape — it is the one that stops drawing attention to itself. → Detailed page in preparation
Facelift
Repositioning the soft tissue that descends over years, rather than pulling skin tight. Done well, the result is that people cannot tell what changed. Done badly, it is the most obvious operation in aesthetic surgery. → Detailed page in preparation
Eyelid surgery
Correction of heavy upper lids and lower lid bags. Frequently the single procedure with the largest visible effect for the smallest intervention, because the eyes carry most of what people read as tiredness. → Detailed page in preparation
Ear surgery
Repositioning prominent ears and correcting shape and asymmetry. Performed in adults and in children, where it is often as much about school as about appearance. → Detailed page in preparation
Fox eyes and temporal lift
Lifting the outer brow and temple to change the angle of the eye. A modest change anatomically and a noticeable one visually — which also means it is easy to overdo. → Detailed page in preparation
Thread lift
Non-surgical suspension of facial tissue with absorbable threads. Suitable for mild laxity in the right patient. It is not a substitute for a facelift and I will say so if that is what you actually need. → Detailed page in preparation
Body
Liposuction
Targeted removal of fat deposits that persist despite diet and exercise. It is a contouring operation, not a weight-loss operation, and it does not treat loose skin. → Detailed page in preparation
Tummy tuck
Removal of excess abdominal skin and repair of the abdominal wall muscles after pregnancy or significant weight loss. The muscle repair is the part that liposuction cannot do. → Detailed page in preparation
Brazilian butt lift
Reshaping the buttock and hip contour using the patient’s own fat. I do not use buttock implants — the shaping is done with your own tissue. Patient selection and technique matter more here than in almost any other aesthetic operation. → Detailed page in preparation
Non-surgical
Botulinum toxin
Softening expression lines by reducing the pull of specific muscles. The aim is a rested face that still moves. A face that cannot express anything has been overtreated. → Detailed page in preparation
Fillers
Hyaluronic acid used to restore volume and definition. Reversible, which is one of its genuine advantages. Best used sparingly and in the right plane. → Detailed page in preparation
Mesotherapy
Micro-injection of vitamins, amino acids and hyaluronic acid into the skin to improve quality and hydration. A maintenance treatment, not a structural one. → Detailed page in preparation
PRP
Platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood, used for skin quality and hair. Nothing foreign is introduced, which is its main attraction, and expectations should be set accordingly. → Detailed page in preparation
Which one do you need?
If you are not certain, that is the normal starting position and not a problem. Send me a description of what bothers you rather than the name of an operation, and I will tell you what I think — including when the answer is that no operation is the right one.
