That is the whole point of this practice, and it is also why a reply sometimes takes a few hours — I am in theatre for part of most days.

What to write in your first message
The most useful first message is not a list of questions about the operation. It is a description of what bothers you, in your own words — what you see when you look, what changed and when, and what you would want to be different.
That tells me more than the name of a procedure, and it is what lets me tell you whether the operation you have in mind is the right one.
Include your age and, if you have one, a rough timeframe.
About photographs
Please do not send photographs in your first message.
They are useful and I will ask for them, but only after you have had the privacy information and given consent — and through a channel intended for it, not a social media inbox. That is your medical data and it should not sit in a chat thread by default.
What happens next
First reply — within 24 hours. Usually much sooner. If I am operating, it will be the same evening rather than the same hour.
Consultation — an online consultation with me, at a time that works across your time zone. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
A written plan — if surgery is appropriate, you receive the plan in writing before you book anything.
If it is not appropriate — I tell you, and I tell you why. That happens more often than you would expect from a website like this one.
