Procedure

What is liposuction?

Liposuction is the removal of fat tissue via cannulas through small incisions. It is used particularly in areas such as the waist, abdomen, back, arms, inner thighs, and under the chin.

The aim is not to cause weight loss — but to correct regional shape.

Modern methods include VASER liposuction, which emulsifies fat cells with sound waves — less trauma, faster recovery. Hi-Def (high-definition) liposuction is used to sculpt muscle lines.

II
Techniques

Method selection.

The most suitable technique for the patient is selected among the main approaches below:

01

Classic

Traditional cannula technique. Still a reliable approach for wider areas.

02

VASER

Ultrasound-assisted — emulsifies fat. Less bruising, smoother results.

03

Hi-Def

Advanced technique that defines muscle lines — for athletic and detailed silhouettes.

III
Candidates

Who is a candidate?

The ideal candidate has normal weight but persistent fat deposits in certain areas that do not respond to sport and diet.

  • Those at a stable body weight
  • Good skin elasticity
  • Persistent fat deposits in specific areas
  • Healthy and with a sport habit
  • Individuals with realistic expectations

Note: Liposuction is not a weight loss method. Overweight patients are first advised to lose weight.

IV
Recovery

Process timeline.

First 3 days

Mild pain, bruising and discharge are normal. Corset worn 24/7.

Week 1

Return to social activities. Light walking encouraged.

Weeks 2 – 6

Corset use continues. Swelling substantially reduces.

Months 3 – 6

Final silhouette becomes clear. Normal return to sport and diet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common queries.

Does the fat come back? +
Since the number of fat cells is reduced, the same area does not re-accumulate. However, weight gain can cause deposits in other areas.
How much fat is removed? +
The safe upper limit is approximately 5 litres. The aim is not to lose weight but to correct form.
Will the skin sag? +
In patients with good skin elasticity, it tightens. If elasticity is poor, it is planned with a skin tightening procedure.
When can I return to work? +
Desk work in 5–7 days; active work in 2 weeks.
How long will I wear the corset? +
First 2 weeks 24/7, next 2–4 weeks during the day.
